NYCFC supporters hijack Red Bulls Twitter poll
Reuters
The New York Red Bulls currently sit atop the Eastern Conference and, as such, the team's social media staff probably didn't expect anything too out of the ordinary when it tweeted a poll to its fans asking for their predicted final standings.
But, in the spirit of rivalry, it looks as though New York City FC supporters and some Toronto FC fans have tilted the result such that NYCFC came out victorious.
POLL: Which team will come out on top of the Eastern Conference?

Ironically, the Red Bulls boast a 2015 award-winning social media team, so this incident, though rather pointedly chuckle worthy, probably doesn't help in their title defense.
