Watch: Pirlo's perfect free-kick rounds out DP hat trick for NYCFC
It's all coming together for manager Patrick Vieira.
The New York City FC boss was able to start his Designated Player trio - David Villa, Andrea Pirlo, and Frank Lampard - for the first time this season, and all three promptly found the back of the net against Philadelphia.
Lampard, finally recovered from a series of niggling injury concerns, kicked off the party with a close-range finish before Villa doubled his side's lead; it would've been the Spaniard's second of the day, too, had an audacious lob from the halfway line not clipped the crossbar in the 12th minute.

Pirlo put the cherry on top, firing home a trademark free-kick that goes down as his first-ever goal in Major League Soccer.
