Watch: Villa's 50-yard chip nearly beats Union 'keeper Blake

New York City FC attacker David Villa turned back the clock Saturday against the Philadelphia Union at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
The World Cup-winning Spaniard scored his league-leading 11th goal of the season in the 21st minute, which would have been his second of the day after narrowly missing a cheeky 50-yard chip.
Villa, 34, caught Union 'keeper Andre Blake off his line, but the bounce favoured the Jamaican international.
The homeside leads 3-1 courtesy of goals from the club's designated player trio, as Frank Lampard's first tally of the season was paired with efforts by Villa and Andrea Pirlo.
