Sounders rookie Jordan Morris among MLS' Team of the Week
Four goals in four matches were good enough for Seattle Sounders homegrown rookie stud Jordan Morris to make the MLS Team of the Week.
Morris, 21, scored in the closing minutes of Saturday's 2-0 victory over San Jose, joining Patrick Mullins and Damani Ralph as the only players in MLS history to score in four matches on the bounce as a rookie.
Several familiar faces join Morris on the Team of the Week, including a four-man midfield that features some of the league's best. Montreal Impact's Ignacio Piatti was named Player of the Week following his stunning performance against Columbus Crew, with Colorado's Jermaine Jones, Red Bulls' Sacha Kljestan, and Portland standout Darlington Nagbe.
