Timbers goalkeeper Jake Gleeson named MLS Player of the Week

Portland Timbers goalkeeper Jake Gleeson single-handedly denied Toronto FC a point Sunday, and has been named MLS Player of the Week for his incredible performance.
Gleeson made four huge saves from point-blank range to deny Drew Moor, Jozy Altidore, Will Johnson, and Michael Bradley to keep the score at 2-1 for the Timbers. Each save brought frustration to the Reds and delight to the Timbers faithful who watched as their hero repeatedly saved the day (and the game).
Gleeson took over from Adam Kwarasey as Portland's first-choice 'keeper after the Ghanaian went down with a finger injury. He's certainly made the spot his own.
