The Chicago Cubs' 2016 campaign is so highly anticipated they're even putting butts in the seats during spring training.

With Friday's contest against Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels featuring the Cubs spring debuts of Jason Heyward and Ben Zobrist, 15,446 fans showed up to take in the game at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz., which set a Cactus League attendance record.

Heyward's debut was a shaky one, as he struck out in both of his at-bats, while Zobrist singled in his first plate appearance.

Chicago is a favorite to win the 2016 World Series after adding Heyward, Zobrist, and John Lackey to a club that finished 97-65 last season and lost to the New York Mets in the NLCS.
