The San Diego Padres have signed veteran utility man Adam Rosales to a minor-league contract.
Rosales appeared in 55 games for the Texas Rangers last season, hitting .228/.296/.342 with three homers and seven RBIs in 114 at-bats.
The 32-year-old can play every infield position with the exception of catcher, and even made two emergency pitching appearances last year.
