Adam Lind could be the next Milwaukee Brewers player to pack his bags and leave town.
The first baseman is generating "lots of activity" on the trade market, according to a source close to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
Lind's bat is understandably appealing to clubs looking for power. The 32-year-old hit .277/.360/.460 with 20 homers and 87 RBIs for the lowly Brewers last year, and Rosenthal believes he'd be a great fit for American League teams looking for a designated hitter.
Lind, who had his $8-million option for 2016 picked up by Milwaukee earlier this month, played nine seasons for the Toronto Blue Jays before being traded to the Brewers for right-hander Marco Estrada last November. He captured a Silver Slugger Award in 2009, when he broke out with a 35-homer, 114-RBI campaign.
Milwaukee has already traded shortstop Jonathan Villar to the Houston Astros and second baseman Javier Betancourt to the Detroit Tigers this fall.
