Chicago Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta has been voted the winner of the 2015 National League Cy Young Award, edging out Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
"I have to say thanks to all the guys I've continued to compete against, year in and year out, to make me try and take my game to the next level," Arrieta said Wednesday after taking a champagne shower from friends and family. "All the hard work has been worth it."
