The Pittsburgh Pirates earned home-field advantage in Wednesday's National League wild-card game versus the Chicago Cubs with a 4-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday.
Pittsburgh (98-64) finishes the season with the second-best record in baseball, but will play in its third consecutive wild-card game.
The Pirates will send Gerrit Cole to the mound to battle Jake Arrieta in the highly anticipated contest at PNC Park.
