Bryce Harper is in manager Matt Williams' lineup Thursday against the Atlanta Braves, one night after suffering a glute injury.
The Washington Nationals outfielder left Wednesday's 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth inning and was replaced by Matt den Dekker.
Harper is hitting .331/.460/.627 with 31 homers and 78 RBIs in 125 games.
The Nationals enter play trailing the New York Mets by 6 1/2 games in the National League East, and are eight games back of the final NL wild-card spot.
