The Detroit Tigers traded their ace and it appears their closer could be next.
After dealing David Price to the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, the Tigers are reportedly working to trade right-hander Joakim Soria, according to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports.
Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski said Wednesday he intends to retool for next year and is listening to offers on impending free agents.
Soria, who slid into the Tigers' closing role after Joe Nathan suffered a season-ending injury, has converted 23 saves while posting a 2.85 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 41 innings.
