VIDEO: Rangers' Andrus tosses glove at liner over his head in desperation

Every now and then a major leaguer makes a bonehead play that ends up costing his team the game.
That was nearly the case for Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus on Saturday night after he threw his glove at a Kole Calhoun liner in the sixth inning versus the Los Angeles Angels.

Luckily, Andrus' glove didn't make contact with the ball, and give Calhoun a three-base error, as per MLB rules.
Andrus won't go without punishment, though, as his desperation attempt will surely be featured on blooper reels for the remainder of the season.
