The Los Angeles Dodgers are talking with the Boston Red Sox about outfielder Alejandro De Aza, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

De Aza, who was acquired by the Red Sox in early June from the Baltimore Orioles, can play all three outfield positions.

Los Angeles already has a crowded outfield that includes Andre Ethier, Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson, and Carl Crawford. De Aza would, however, provide manager Don Mattingly with a left-handed option off the bench.

De Aza has been a pleasant surprise for the Red Sox, hitting .313/.362/.520 in 150 at-bats.
