Dodgers designate Sergio Santos for assignment

The Los Angeles Dodgers have designated reliever Sergio Santos for assignment and recalled outfielder Chris Heisey from Triple-A Oklahoma.
Santos posted a 4.73 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with 15 strikeouts in 13 1/3 innings for the Dodgers, and should draw interest from other clubs.
Los Angeles inked the righty to a minor-league contract in January, and promoted him to the MLB roster in late April.
Santos, 31, has 39 career saves in 54 opportunities.
