Going back to the start of the 2014 season, Sandoval is hitting .172 right-handed, so it was interesting to see him go left-on-left as a pinch-hitter over the weekend (he singled). Ultimately, Farrell said the decision's up to the player, but you got to think the manager is secretly hoping for Sandoval to make the switch to batting left-handed solely given his recent track record.
