Analysis:
The Pirates had to make room on the roster for Monday's starter Charlie Morton (hip), and Liz was a logical choice to lose his spot. While Liz turned in a respectable 3.63 ERA in 11 appearances, he also walked 10 in 17.1 innings, taking three losses and blowing a save. The 31-year-old right-hander returned to the major leagues this season for the first time since 2009, but it's uncertain if he'll be back again.
