Reds manager Price on pregame ejection: 'It was just hangover from Friday'
Bryan Price couldn't get Friday night's game off his mind.
"It was just hangover from (Friday), that was all," Price said following Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Cleveland Indians.
The Cincinnati Reds manager was ejected prior to the game while exchanging lineup cards after an altercation with the umpiring crew.
Price said the incident stems from the day before, when Reds players Joey Votto and Jay Bruce took exception with the strike zone.
"It's just things left unsaid yesterday that were said today," Price said. "I was given fair warning that I would be ejected if I continued to debate yesterday's game."

This was Price's second ejection of the season and the fourth of his career. The Reds, meanwhile, continued their woes, losing their seventh consecutive game on Saturday.
