Analysis:
Off days allowed the Reds to skip Lorenzen the last time through the rotation, but manager Bryan Price had suggested the right-hander would remain the club's No. 5 option despite Raisel Iglesias' tremendous success in a recent spot start. Price then said Wednesday that Lorenzen would start the second game of the upcoming homestand against Colorado, "barring anything unforeseen." Lorenzen has given up eight runs on 21 hits -- including four home runs -- with an 11:10 K:BB in 18 innings with the big club so far this season.
