Padres' Myers seeing hand specialist for sore left wrist, will undergo MRI

Jake Roth / USA TODAY Sports

The San Diego Padres should have a timetable for Wil Myers' return to the lineup by Thursday at the latest.

Myers saw a hand specialist for his sore left wrist in San Diego on Wednesday and will undergo a scan. He aggravated the injury during batting practice prior to Tuesday tilt with the Seattle Mariners.

The 24-year-old is hitting .291 with five homers and 19 RBIs in 32 games, and would be a huge loss for the Friars if the results of the scan are unfavorable.
