CHICAGO - Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias was not in the starting lineup for the series finale Thursday against the Chicago White Sox because of a mild groin injury.
Iglesias, who is batting .349, appeared to get hurt in the eighth inning Wednesday night when he scored from second base on a single by Victor Martinez.
Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said Thursday that Iglesias might be out for ''a couple of days.''
