Cleveland Indians right-hander Trevor Bauer came prepared Monday for an inevitable bench-clearing brawl with baseball's newest bad boys, the Kansas City Royals.

Bauer, who's scheduled to return from illness to start Tuesday's game, was spotted in Everlast boxing gloves Monday as he watched his team take on the defending American League champs from the dugout.

The Royals have had an aggressive start to their season after engaging in hostilities with the Oakland Athletics and Chicago White Sox in consecutive weekends. Edinson Volquez, Yordano VenturaLorenzo Cain and Kelvin Herrera were all issued suspensions for their involvement in the altercations.
