Galvis is out of the lineup Thursday, MLB.com's Todd Zolecki reports.
Analysis:
He had started the last six games but will be replaced at shortstop by Andres Blanco on Thursday. Galvis is having one of the best offensive starts for the Phillies, slashing .300/.364/.420 with just five strikeouts in 50 at-bats. Considering Galvis is primarily valued for his defense, this early offense is gravy for the Phillies and his owners. His BABIP is .318 and his career BABIP is .256, so regression is coming, but given his position eligibility, Galvis should carry value in NL-only formats all season.
