Jose Abreu is proving his breakout 2014 rookie campaign wasn't a fluke.
The Chicago White Sox slugger unleashed a grand slam and collected three hits to lead Chicago to a 12-3 win over the Detroit Tigers Saturday afternoon.
Abreu's second career grand slam in the top of the fourth inning knocked Anibal Sanchez from the game. The Tigers righty was tagged for nine earned runs on nine hits over 3 1/3 innings, and also yielded a three-run homer to Adam LaRoche.

Abreu is now slashing .250/.302/.550 with three home runs and six RBIs through 10 games.
