Blue Jays get introduced to Beck's hit song 'Loser' at Orioles home opener

The Baltimore Orioles are the defending American League East champions, and they want the Toronto Blue Jays to know it.

It's common courtesy for the visiting team to get introduced first at any respective home opener in the majors, usually to a chorus of boos, but the Orioles took it one step further with an interesting choice of music to accompany Toronto players. The PA system blared American alternative rock musician Beck's instrumental version of the hit song "Loser" while the Blue Jays were being introduced.

Twitter was quick to respond to the controversial song selection with opinions being split between the two fan bases:

Both squads enter the opener of the three-game weekend set at Camden Yards with identical 2-1 records to share the early division lead with the Boston Red Sox.
