Denorfia is nursing a sore hamstring and manager Joe Maddon said his Opening Day availability is in jeopardy, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Denorfia hasn't played in an official spring game in over a week -- he did make an appearance in a "B" game back on the 21st -- and this explains why. With Denorfia in danger of missing the start of the year as a result of the injury, Junior Lake could be a dark horse to make the team and earn some starts against left-handed pitching early on.
