MLB Game Summary - Oakland at Milwaukee
Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Mark Canha belted a game-tying two-run homer with two outs in the top of the ninth inning as the Oakland Athletics rallied to earn a 9-9 deadlock with the Milwaukee Brewers in spring-training action.
The Athletics trailed 9-5 before scoring four times in the final frame, with Canha's blast against Jeremy Jeffress one of three Oakland homers on the afternoon. Ike Davis had a two-run shot as part of a 2-for-3, three-RBI performance, while Max Muncy delivered a solo homer in the eighth inning while finishing 2-for-2.
Luis Jimenez had a three-run blast and Carlos Gomez went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI for Milwaukee. Ryan Braun recorded three hits, including an RBI double.
The Brewers battered Oakland starter Sonny Gray for six runs and eight hits over the right-hander's 2 2/3 innings of work.
