Votto (quadriceps) was a full participant in team drills Tuesday, the first one with the entire team. "I felt really good, it's nice to be back," Votto said. "It's nice to be able to do what I want to do in terms of baseball, be able to swing, to be able to run. I think it'll take a little bit of time to take it off the back of my mind and just be able to play -- to be able to play without too much concern."
Analysis:
Votto and the Reds mostly did conditioning drills and batting practice, along with some drills fielding bunts. We'll likely have frequent updates this spring until Votto playing becomes more commonplace.
