Ramon Santiago agrees to minor league deal with Blue Jays

TORONTO - Infielder Ramon Santiago has agreed to a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays and will report to major league spring training.
The 35-year-old hit .246 with two homers and 17 RBIs in 75 games for the Cincinnati Reds last season and has a .243 average in 13 seasons that include stints with Detroit (2002-03 and 2006-13) and Seattle (2004-05).
His agreement was announced Friday.
