Dodgers agree to terms with Chris Heisey on 1-year, $2.16-million contract

Outfielder Chris Heisey agreed to a one-year, $2.16 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Ken Gurnick of the Dodgers' official site reports.
Analysis:
Heisey was traded from the Reds to the Dodgers in early December after a disappointing 2013 season in which he hit .222/.265/.378 with eight home runs and 22 RBI. He should provid esome depth in the outfield for the Dodgers in 2015, but may have to battle for a roster spot out of training camp.
