Brewers agree to terms with Martin Maldonado on 2-year deal

Backup catcher Martin Maldonado agreed to a two-year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday to avoid arbitration.
Martin Maldonado's contract with #Brewers is a 2-year, $1.195 million deal. $850k in 2015, $1.1mm in 2016.

Analysis:
Maldonado will return as the top backup to star catcher Jonathan Lucroy, after only getting 111 at-bats last year, despite staying healthy for the entire season. Maldonado did well with the limited work, posting a .234/.320/.387 batting line, with four home runs and 16 RBI.
