Rangers trade Robertson to Angels

ARLINGTON, Texas - The Texas Rangers have traded outfielder Daniel Robertson to the Los Angeles Angels for a player to be named or cash.
The deal was announced Thursday.
The 29-year-old Robertson made his major league debut last season and hit .271 with 21 RBIs in 70 games with Texas. He began the season in the minors with San Diego and was acquired by the Rangers in late April.
