Robinson Cano: Out 3-4 Weeks with Toe Injury
Cano has a non-displaced fracture of his right pinkie toe and will not play for the rest of the Japan All-Star Series, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Fortunately for Cano and the Mariners, he should be able to resume baseball activities in approximately three-to-four weeks. The injury occurred after Cano was hit in the foot by a pitch Saturday. For the MLB All-Stars Series, Jose Altuve will slot in at second base in Cano's absence.
