Report: Twins' Buxton suffers fractured middle finger

A disappointing and injury-plagued season for Minnesota Twins top prospect Byron Buxton has come to an end.
Buxton will miss the remainder of the Arizona Fall League with a fractured left middle finger, reports La Velle E. Neal of the Star Tribune.
Doctors reportedly discovered the fracture Tuesday, a day after Buxton was diagnosed with a dislocated finger. The 20-year-old outfielder injured himself diving for a ball in an AFL game.
A slew of injuries held Buxton to 31 minor-league games this season after he hit a robust .334/.424/.520 with 55 stolen bases across two Class A levels in 2013.
