David Manning-USA TODAY Sports
Boston Red Sox bench coach Torey Lovullo has been added to the list of candidates for managerial openings in Texas and Minnesota, according to reports.
Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reported Monday that the Red Sox granted the Twins permission to interview Lovullo for the vacant position after firing long-time skipper Ron Gardenhire last week.
Lovullo is also said to be on the Rangers' radar, with MLive.com's Jason Mastrodonato previously confirming he will interview with Texas as well.
The 49-year-old Lovullo played eight seasons in the majors before serving as a bench coach since 2011.
