Josh Hamilton: (Shoulder) Dealing With Renewed Soreness
Hamilton is now experiencing soreness in a different part of his shoulder, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.
Analysis:
Hamilton has already missed the better part of September due to shoulder soreness, but it looks as if a different part of the same shoulder has flared up. After serving as the designated hitter Tuesday, Hamilton will have now once again missed back-to-back games, and could be in danger of missing additional time moving forward. The Halos' main goal is to get him ready for the postseason, but he may not be ready to play every day by that time. Hamilton will continue to undergo treatment, but he doesn't appear to be a high-percentage fantasy option for the remainder of the regular season.
