Brewers' Braun to miss game Wednesday to attend birth of first child

The Milwaukee Brewers will be without left fielder Ryan Braun when they try to snap a seven-game losing streak on Wednesday in their series finale with the Chicago Cubs.

Braun has struggled through the Brewers' losing streak, hitting .160/.222/.280 with 12 strikeouts over the last seven games.
Milwaukee will also be without Carlos Gomez, who was shut down on Tuesday for a week with a sprained wrist.
