The Toronto Blue Jays will not have center fielder Colby Rasmus in the lineup for Tuesday's clash with the Boston Red Sox at Rogers Centre, as the 28-year-old is dealing with an unspecified illness, according to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi.
Rasmus, an impending free agent, has endured a disappointing season thus far, hitting .223/.285/.437 (99 OPS+) with 16 home runs through 93 games. Kevin Pillar, who was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday afternoon, will start in his stead.
