A Monday night showdown between the Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers isn't exactly the hottest ticket in town these days. Certainty not when it's raining.
But these determined fans stopped at nothing to watch their team play in torrential downpour, wrapping themselves in a giant sheet of plastic during the sixth inning.

Their dedication was rewarded. The White Sox won 5-3 in an abbreviated seven innings after heavy showers caused two delays at U.S. Cellular Field.
It appears their plastic cover could have been used to help protect center field from massive puddling during the second delay.
