Report: Twins' Mauer, Nolasco to begin rehab assignments next week
Kevin Jairaj / USA TODAY Sports
Reinforcements are reportedly on the way for the Minnesota Twins, soon.
Joe Mauer has been out since July 2 with an oblique issue and Ricky Nolasco has been shut down with an elbow problem since July 6.
The Twins (48-59) are well out of contention in the American League Central, but fans will surely be happy to see the duo return to action by the middle of the month.
