White Sox' Eaton not in lineup Friday vs. Blue Jays

Chicago White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton (leg) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

Analysis:

Eaton attempted to downplay the severity of the leg injury that forced him from Thursday's game, saying it was just general "wear and tear" and adding that he expected to be back in the lineup Friday, but manager Robin Ventura has decided to take precaution and give his leadoff man a day to rest up. Leury Garcia will take over in center and atop the batting order Friday.
