GIF: Cardinals' Craig remains in game after taking pitch in helmet

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Allen Craig remained in Sunday's series finale with the San Francisco Giants despite taking a pitch from Tim Hudson off the back of his helmet in the bottom of the third inning.

Craig was attended to briefly by manager Mike Matheny and the team trainer, but was able to remain in the game.

Craig, who grounded out to shortstop in his first at-bat Sunday, is hitting .255/.315/.396 with six home runs through 54 games this season, but is 28-for-83 (.337) over his last 21 contests.
