The defending National League champs are rewarding their general manager with a contract extension.
Mozeliak was named the 12th general manager in team history in 2007 and has led the Cardinals to four playoff berths, including two World Series appearances and a championship in 2011.
Some of the more notable deals the Cardinals GM has inked over his tenure include re-signing Matt Holliday for seven-years, $120 million, extending Yadier Molina five-years, for $75 million and letting Albert Pujols walk to the Angels for 10-years, $254 million.
The Cardinals previously extended Mozeliak's contract through 2016 in February of 2013.
