Ryan Dempster is making the most of his season off from the Boston Red Sox.

The right-hander is sitting out this year due to physical reasons and was spotted Thursday in the bleachers of Wrigley Field, taking in the Cubs and Pirates game.
Dempster, who pitched for the Cubs from 2004-2012, sat in the outfield bleachers, which are general admission seats that run for about $30 a ticket.
The 36-year-old was casually dressed but wasn't without his newest addition to his jewelry collection, as he was armed with his 2013 World Series ring.
