The San Diego Padres and infielder Sung-Mun Song agreed to a contract, sources told Robert Murray of FanSided.
Terms of the deal haven't been reported.
Song hit 26 homers with 25 stolen bases and a .917 OPS over 144 games with South Korea's Kiwoom Heroes en route to being voted 2025 KBO Player of the Year by his peers.
The 29-year-old made 500 career starts at third base in the KBO. He's also started at first base and second base.
The Padres reportedly added Song a day after re-signing right-hander Michael King to a three-year, $75-million contract.
