Qualifying offer roundup for MLB free agents
The deadline to extend a qualifying offer to eligible MLB players is Thursday at 5 p.m. ET.
Players that receive a qualifying offer have until Nov. 18 to accept the one-year, $22.025-million contract or reject it and remain a free agent.
Players that do not accept the qualifying offer will be attached to draft-pick compensation, meaning any other team that signs those free agents will forfeit a 2026 draft selection. The value of that pick depends on a number of factors.
A player can only receive a qualifying offer once in his career, and any player traded midway through the 2025 season is not eligible to receive one.
Note: Players will be added throughout the day prior to the deadline.

Thirteen players received qualifying offers last offseason. Reds pitcher Nick Martinez was the only player to accept.
