World Series Game 5 bets: Can Blue Jays' bats stay hot vs. Snell?

The Blue Jays rebounded Tuesday night to level the series after a heartbreaking 18-inning loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3. Blake Snell and Trey Yesavage will get the nod for Wednesday's game, a repeat matchup between the Game 1 starters.

We have you covered with our favorite bets for Game 5, the last in L.A. before the World Series returns to Toronto.

⚾️ Bet: Over 8.5 runs (+105)

This will be the second time each team has faced the opposing starter, and that familiarity can only help the batters. Game 1 featured 15 runs, and while that's an unlikely total to see again, there's a good chance Snell and Yesavage struggle to pitch deep into the game. This will be Yesavage's first playoff start on the road, and Snell was tagged in Game 1, allowing eight hits and five earned runs in five innings.

⚾️ Bet: Scoreless 1st inning - No (-105)

I expect both teams to come out aggressively and attack the opposing starter early. Yesavage could be shaky in new territory, and the Blue Jays will have confidence knowing they were able to score a bunch of runs on Snell in Game 1.

⚾️ Bet: Over 1.5 total bases (+115)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has earned at least two total bases in three of four games this series, and he's one of MLB's best hitters against lefties (and one of the best hitters, period). Getting this at plus-money is excellent value, especially after his two-hit, one-homer game Tuesday.

⚾️ Bet: Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (+115)

Ernie Clement is also fantastic when facing left-handers, and there's a chance he'll hit leadoff against Snell if George Springer is sidelined again. If he does, this price would be a steal, but even if he doesn't, Clement could still cash this with two singles.

⚾️ Bet: Over 2.5 walks allowed (-105)

Yesavage has dished out three walks in back-to-back outings and now enters a high-pressure start in a crucial World Series game at Dodger Stadium. Considering Toronto may intentionally walk Shohei Ohtani, the rookie could threaten to hit this over early.
