Nationals' Wood enters Home Run Derby

Washington Nationals outfielder James Wood will participate in this year's Home Run Derby, he announced Thursday on Instagram.
The 6-foot-7 slugger is seventh in the majors with 22 home runs, 12 of them considered no-doubters by Baseball Savant.
Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh and Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. are the other known participants in this year's derby, with more to be announced prior to the July 14 event at Truist Park in Atlanta.
