Imanaga suffers hamstring strain vs. Brewers

Chicago Cubs left-hander Shota Imanaga exited Sunday's start against the Milwaukee Brewers due to a hamstring strain.
Imanaga suffered the injury covering first base on a double-play attempt in the sixth inning.

Imanaga also left his last start versus the Pittsburgh Pirates with leg cramps.
The 31-year-old owns a 2.82 ERA with 1.10 WHIP and 34 strikeouts over 44 2/3 innings (eight starts) this season. He finished fifth in NL Cy Young voting during his 2024 rookie campaign.
