Marlins lean into retro vibes for City Connect 2.0 uniforms

The Miami Marlins revealed their "retrowave" City Connect threads Wednesday.
The new look pays tribute to the city's global influence and bold colors, while honoring the past, present, and future,
Miami's 305 area code on the hat marks the first time an MLB club included the digits in the design of a cap.
"(The) 305 hat is amazing, so I think it's something different, and it's going to look very, very good on us," right-hander Sandy Alcantara said, according to Christina De Nicola of MLB.com. "Hopefully the fans like it."
The Marlins will wear the new uniforms for every Saturday home game this season, with the debut coming this weekend against the Athletics.
Miami's first City Connect look came out in 2021.
